How Code Blue Computing is on Track to Make $2M This Year

My name is Jeri Morgan. I own Code Blue Computing, and we’re located in Denver, Colorado. We started with the 7 Figure MSP™ Inner Circle Elite program about 6 years ago, between 2017 and 2018. It didn’t take long at all for us to see results.

The Transition to Managed Services

We had actually started our business as a computer repair shop, and we were really struggling with making the transition to managed services. Once we saw the 7 Figure MSP™ programs and what could happen, we signed up right away.

Overcoming Pricing Challenges

I think our biggest struggle was pricing and really understanding the value in what we had. So that was one of the biggest advancements we made pretty quickly within the program.

Our business had been operating for almost six or seven years before we started with 7 Figure MSP™, and we had really been struggling. We were just ready to make a change.

Building a Business We Love

Everything has changed for our business since we started with 7 Figure MSP™. It was just my husband and me initially. Now we’ve got a team of six, and we’ve actually crossed the seven-figure revenue mark.

Like Chris often talks about, we had really created crappy jobs for ourselves initially. But we’ve worked our way out of that into owning a business that we love. It’s changed everything – our lifestyle, our outlook, what we can do for our kids.

Ambitious Growth Goals

For 2024, we’ve got really big goals. We just crossed the million-dollar mark last year, and our goal for this year is to get as close as we can to $2 million. All of the strategies we get from 7 Figure MSP™ and the quarterly events give us the focus to move towards those goals.

Advice for Others

My advice is just get off the fence. When you have a technical brain, we have a tendency to overthink things. So don’t overthink it – just jump in and start doing what you can do, and get ready to grow.

The Value of Community

There are two things I like the best about 7 Figure MSP™. I like the weekly meetings where if you’re having a challenge in your business, you’ve got this whole community to help you work through it. I also like the quarterly events and the community aspect when you get to meet folks and hang out with them in person.

Focus on Building a Sales Team

It’s always hard to pick a favorite part, but really this latest event had a lot of focus on growing your sales team and building out your sales development reps (SDRs). So it’s been great to get that focus on building a team as opposed to doing all the sales ourselves.
